Performance Opportunities for Students
Every student of Merry Keller Music is offered a variety of opportunities to develop specific skills associated with performing in public. Issues and questions are initially addressed in private vocal and piano sessions.
Some performance questions that may be addressed in lessons or practice performance settings:
- What can I do to keep from being nervous?
- What do I do with my hands?
- How do I acknowledge the audience?
- What if I forget my lyrics?
- How close do I need to be to the microphone?
- What can I do to keep from being nervous?
"Music is the soul of language."
